Finally decided on my solar panel system preference.

I bought 2 100w monochrystaline panels and made adjustable supports, fitted hinges and toggle latches etc.
Purchased cable and connectors etc. online and used some items I already had in the garage.

I went for a 200 watt folding suitcase with 32 amp MPPT controller, I abandoned the idea of using existing EHU cables and fitted dedicated recommended cabling at all points.

I enjoyed putting it all together and saved quite a bit of money in the process, the controller will be mounted inside the caravan, set up and pack away time should literally be a few minutes.

I would be interested in reading that. I've seen solar panels inside the caravan as a battery conditioner for storage, but how do you connect it to the battery? mine is sealed from the inside of the van.
