If memory serves it is usually beginning of July as the roads to the Med are usually chokka with 'cloggies' heading south. One wonders sometimes if anyone is left in Holland.

In much of Holland, in particular the north, the summer school holidays are 04.07. to 23.08. In the southwest around Rotterdam they are 18.07. to 06.09.
