Wasn't going to get one but the thought of wet coats and shoes coming into the van was not making SWMBO happy so I've ordered an blow up awning.

Never had a blow up one before and I am hoping it lives up to the hype!
 
Hi Ricky, I have a swift AIR 260, and its great, it took the battering of the winds three weeks ago, the tube bent around a bit the first night, Then I realised one of the storm pegs had pulled out. So pumped the tube up to a good 5psi and all was well for the next three nights, there is an optional two inflatable storm tubes I can get so I probably will.

How did it go Ricky, did you change pitch, hope you had a good weekend, the winds in RMK, (Rural Milton Keynes) have been very gusty. Hope you have come away unscathed.

Hi Hutch,

I'm not actually booked in until tomorrow. It is very windy here tonight but that is supposed to drop away later tonight so hopefully no drama on the A27.

I did manage to book a pitch with space for an awning so weather permitting it will be going up tomorrow. 🙂
