3 pin connector on sockets.

Have bought an external socket and it has a 3 pin push in connector.Can you buy the other half of the connector ,if not I will have to solder and shrinkwrap cable.Also would like the connection box which is in two halves and snaps over the joint.

I had a quick look and thought they were moulded on but you are probably right.I've got one in the garage I'll see if it comes apart.Thanks for the info.
 
Our van has those connectors but the cables from them just screw into normal type 13 amp socket
It should be possible to unscrew at the socket and wire direct
The connectors are to speed up production I think
You can get the sockets without the connector from dealers but you should be able to just unscrew I would have thought
