7 seater people carrier with 4wd

Does anyone know of a people carrier with a 4wd option rather than a 4wd with 7 seats.Have had a look at Santa fe and sorrento with 7 seats and not much room in back for adults.The Sharan/Alhambra is supposed to have 4motion option next year but the Adblue system is expensive to maintain and no spare wheel.The Ssangyong Rexton looks hideous to me.Any ideas?

I believe that VW do a 4motion version of their Caravalle people carrier range, or the Mercedes Viano has read wheel drive. American imports such as the GMC Astro were also available with psudo 4 wheel drive that only kickced in if you lost traction.

The 4MATIC version of the Mercedes Viano is not available in the UK. At least, it is not shown in the price list. However, the VW Caravelle 4Motion sounds a good alternative.

Hi Deli Dave. I have been considering the same thing, but did not want anything overly large. I have still not made up my mind, but the VW Caddy Maxi Life 4WD looks the business!

PS: This is my first post using the 'new' system and my first impression is that it seems to be an improvement on the previous version. I hope it saves ok. following that praise!

Thanks for the replies,I must admit the Caravelle looks excellent but Mrs.D.D. is not keen on popping to Tescos in such a big vehicle ,the Caddy looks great but would struggle to pull our van as the 4motion is only available with the 110ps engine.I think a Santa Fe or Sorrento looks high up at the moment although I know I will lose a lot of space.
