Warm welcome. A few don’t do this and that..No equipment on grass, must be on pitch.
Given a site plan and as usual drove around , picked our pitch and reported back to Warden.. Given a pass card for security barrier.
Facilities first class. Free Wifi one hour then pay. No TV signal.Beautiful location with some lovely views. Most pitches will require levelling kit. Whole site well kept and clean.

No complaints but they confirmed to me why we prefer CS and CLs and dare I say plenty of smaller commercial sites . However where appropriate we will still use both Clubs sites. You know they will be to a high standard but are no longer the cheap end.

We tended to predominantly use club sites as in our earlier days they were always of a consistently good standard. And were good VFM. The CC generally a bit better than CCC but no overall complaints wrt either. We did use CL/CS especially for overnight journey stops but before the internet came of age it could be a lottery on whether the site would be okay or not. You only had the basic description in the club handbooks, and some were quite rough and ready. With the development of on line info and review sites it’s now easier to select your options. Plus many CL/CS have now matured to reflect the needs of their customers in that they provide good facilities, FSP, etc.

Same here. Used CCC & CCC sites only until we realised our folly. LOL! Now mainly commercial sites and CLs. However in the past 2 months we had to use two CAMC sites.

The one Ramslade was okay, but access road a bit daunting. New Forest not impressed as whether you paid for the wifi or not, wifi was diabolical. At both sites we had fully serviced pitches with water connections.

Why do the CC insist that bollard is shared between two pitches? If the bollard is to the nearside of the caravan, you have an issue if you cannot reach the bollard with the water or waste hose due to the insisting the car is parked on the offside of the caravan. At New Forest I parked the car across the front of the caravan as it was off the road.

Annoyingly with both sites the bins for recycling and rubbish are not off site and can be a very long walk to them especially if you have mobility issues. We had to use the vehicle so not exactly environmentally friendly!
