a question to anyone living in dorset

it may sound a stupid question but what is the weather normally like during the last week in august and the first week in september,i know no one can predict the future, but whats it been like the past few years?

any feedback appreciated

mick, I live in Poole. The weather in Dorset is usually similar to the rest of the South West i.e. there is nothing peculiar about it. It can of course vary between Lyme Regis in the South West, which is on the coast, and Gillingham in the North East which is on higher ground. It is normally still mild at the end of August and can be hot. It can of course be wet, near the coast, or on high ground around Shaftsbury.

In summary I would expect it to be as good as it gets anywhere but this is England where we have weather and not climate.
