A quick hello!

Hi there, I'm Mark. The family and I are hoping to get a good starter van very soon so we can take the kids away on some cracking holidays in the years to come. I was brought up with caravans, Mum and Dad ended up marshalling several rallies for the Suffolk Centre Caravan Club, and it was good fun! We've got a tent at the mo, that is a lot of work! Just come back from a few days away in Norfolk and the kids loved it! So it's time to put the tent away and choose a lovely family van my wife and I feel. Thats enough for now,
Cheers
Mark, Laura and girls

Hi Mark, Laura & girls. You've joined the most friendly and helpful caravan forum and welcome to you all. So many folk change up to a caravan from tenting and you'll not regret it one bit. Your girls have such adventures ahead of them. Take your time and do your research on the pro's and con's of the vans you look at and really try to imagine yourselves living in there, from waking in the morning to going to bed at night and you'll soon know the layout that suits you best.
We look forward to hearing how you're getting on with your search and if you have any questions, just ask.

Hi Mark and family, welcome to the Practical Caravan forum.
I'm sure that your parents will point you in the right direction when it comes to choosing your first caravan and getting a good fair deal but Click Here to have a look at the Caravan Buyers Guide which will help you to avoid the most obvious pitfalls when you are looking for a caravan.
If there is anything at all that we can help you with just ask, the only daft question is the one that you should have asked - but didn't
