Two Japanese Kawasaki military lift planes have arrived at RAF Coningsby along with two F15s. Two more F15s are due to arrive. The planes will not be taking part in a NATO exercise or flying displays, but the F15s of the JSDF are a first over here. The operation is to test the requirements for long range deployments, and with Japan and Italy partnering UK in the next generation fighter it will bring closer ties between the RAF and JSDF. Of course you can go to Lakenheath (Fighter town) and see F15s and F35s flying. 24/7.
