A site that has good Carp fishing

Would like to go away for 2 weeks at the end of June begining of July, in Devon or Cornwall where there is carp fishing.

I would like a site that has a pub and a shop

If anyone has any to recommend could you reply to this

I have only been to White Acres which I found very disappointing. I have been told that Trevella Caravan site at Newquay has good Carp fishing.

Northam Farm at Brean in Somerset, has fishing, we stayed overnight here on our way to Cornwell, good sized pitches (on the hard standing) and the toilets were spotless.

The fishing lakes are in their own area. There is also a pub and shop on site.

Hi

We are also going to Trevella the first week in July for the fishing. We have read good reviews on other sites regarding the different carp that can be caught. The site facilities are very good too. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Hi Pete.

You could try Spring Water lakes at Harford, on the A482 the juction of which is about 4 miles south west of Llandovery on the A40. You can view the web site at www.springwaterlakes.com

I've been to the site myself and even only being what I call a casual angler, I was most impressed with the place. It offers peace and tranquility without being over comercialised.
