does anyone out there own an abbey aventura 330.. we are buying a new abbey cardinal 330 which is a special caravan (upgraded in some ways) from yorkshire caravans based on the aventura.. i think it as different upholstery and more spec.. i was wanting any pro's and con's for the caravan though if someone can share them with us.. thanx in advance daz

I bought an Abbey cardinal 315 from YCOB in Mar 2004, this was based on an Aventura 315.

After only 2 months the front end started to show cracking around the front locker opening, which was repaired by YCOB. Over the summer of 2004 the cracks re-appeared together with several more above the front windows. To cut a long story short I have now had the whole of the front end replaced (under warrenty) in March 05 after leaving the van with YCOB since 29th Oct 2004. This final repair looks OK but I am keeping a close eye on it. Other than this the van tows well and the interior is of a good quality and everything works OK, as we should expect in this day and age.
