Acorns caravan park near Winsford

Hi, has anyone here been to Acorns Caravan park near Winsford, Cheshire ?

It's a small site with only elec hookup, no toilets or showers, but sound really nice. Thinkg of going for 4 nights in October 1/2 term.

Personally we haven't been but looking at it on the internet it's very basic and doesn't offer anything, but it all depends on what you want.

There's ****** all round here to do if the weather is bad, we've got a swimming pool and that's it, you'll have to drive out for anything else.

If the weather is ok for you then you must do the Whitegate way walk, it's the old railway line and takes you through some lovely countryside.

We,ve stayed on the Acorns cl and the owners own site which is next door many times. The owner is a lovely lady and will make you feel very welcome. It backs onto Whitegate way/ Delemere forest, theres Winford to do some shoppi ng or Northwich alittle further. Many nice pubs. Its a quiet little site if you want peace and quiet. There,s also "Go Ape" if your adventurous.
