ACSI in Italy

Hi, thinking of going to Italy late August for 4 or 5 weeks and looking for a site on the banks of a lake or river suitable for fishing and Kayaking. Must be dog friendly. Don't really want to go any further south than Tuscany. Many thanks in eager anticipation.

I presume you mean an ACSI 'Card' site, rather than an ACSI 'inspected' site. There are many thousands more inspected sites, compared to those which accept the ACSI Card. If you don't get any actual recommendations, then have a look on the ACSI Card website www.campingcard.co.uk for some ideas.
 
I can recommend lake Trasemeno just below Florence and near to Cortona. Lovely area quieter than Garda . Look
. Unfortunately the site we used is now closed I believe but another ACSI CC Site nearby. Good for visiting Assisi if you are interested in visiting beautiful hilltop towns. Many lovely places to visit.
