Acsi subscription

Could anyone explain why I feel I am being pressured to renew my ACSI subscription for 2018. They are asking for a total of 19.45 euros. If I buy one from the February Caravan Show won’t it be cheaper and in sterling so no exchange charges ?

You can also buy it from the Camping & Caravan Club for £12.99 post free. (I am not certain if you have to be a member).

My big gripe with ACSI is that the new book/card is not published until December, and by then I am away in Spain for the winter. All I want is the new (2018) card ...I don't need the books....but they have no mechanism to just supply the card on its own. Getting the (heavy) books delivered abroad is unreliable.

I thought two year ago that I paid for a two yeear subscription , but was asked last year for another year. Didn't recieve a new card. But only good for out of season, on big sites. So have not bothered.

I have the same difficulty - however, my daughter tears out the card from the book then brings it with her when she comes for Christmas. A couple of friends who also arrive every year arrange to have their books delivered to the camp site.

Yes, probably the best solution is to have books delivered to one of our daughters and get them to send on just the card to a campsite. I just hate imposing, even on the 'children' ....especially now THEY are busy with a grandchild 😱hmy:

I guess you are off very soon? .... we are on the 26/11 Bilbao crossing and plan to take the western Salamanca-Caceres-Seville route this time before heading towards Almeria. Wife is determined to get to Gibralter this time!

Next Wednesday lunchtime on Cap Finestere. The route you've chosen is great. And the site at Caceres is the best I've ever used. Each pitch has its own bathroom! Enjoy
