Our 2010 Mondeo estate had a long overhang and made towing a bit comfortable. That combined with the terrible Powershift gearbox made us reject the vehicle and buy a 1996 SUV which was more than capable.I’ve had two where I fitted MAD ancillary springs. These were a Saab 9000, and Skoda Superb estate. Both had long overhangs and in the case of the Skoda the JW tended to ground on our local speed humps. Neither had ACC but the modification made for a better ride.
I find on coming motorists act as a useful aide memoire.Sometimes I'm glad my Kuga isn't loaded with all the new fangled tech.
If I am fully loaded or towing I just need to remember to turn a little dial to lower the lights.
