Additional Mains Socket

My caravan has only one electric socket.I would like to put another in. Would it be a problem - always assuming the amps available to the sockets together are not exceeded?
 
Morganic, putting an exra socket in your van should not be a problem but you should at least check with an electrician to ensure the van can take one.

After all you could use an extension!!!

As for the amps I wouldnt wory about that as the highest ampage

you will find on a hookup will be 16 amps.

hiya

Dead easy, but be careful, site the socket and connect, run the cable back to an existing socket or mains unit, ensure mains are off, connect, refit all covers.
