Adjusting jockey wheel on sloping sites

Another way to help is, on arrival, assessing the terrain and predicting if the jockey wheel may need to reach a long way. Then you can clamp the jockey wheel tube at the lowest possible level before unhitching. This still might not be enough for an extreme slope but may work for a gentler slope without the need for steadies or lift and snatch.

Front legs method for me too.

Mrs Gozza has back problems, so anything physical in the set up is my job - so anything I can do to reduce the load is done. Hence drill winder method for me. On the rare occasion we put the awning up, we've got threadpegs to save physical work as well.
