Adults only with indoor pool?

Does anybody know of any nice adults only sites with an indoor swimming pool? Will also need to walk the dog, I don't suppose there are any such sites? (And no, I don't hate children, I have grandchildren! But we just fancied a quiet swim with the chance to try and get fit without the noise of children screeming!) Many thanks.

You don't say what location but there is one with a pool, and I believe it's adults only, just north of Shrewsbury.

I haven't been for 5 years but then it was a long drive off a lane to the site and this acted as the dog walk.

The site is also a bit pricey so you would have to find out if the pool is inclusive.

There is fly fishing on a small pool and since we went they now have WiFi. Again not sure if it's charged for or if it's any good.

Just a quick look at their website I see they now have statics.

Hi

We site our van during the winter months at Beaconsfield and return there regularly throughout the summer.

There is a separate dog walk besides using the drive.

The charges for the swimming pool are separate depending whether you want to use it with others or book it privately for 1 hr.

The wi-fi is free and it is ok.

We have used Beaconsfield on a number of ocassions.

It also has an excellent onsite restaurant if you want a candlelit evening dinner. You must book in advance or you wont get in.

Shrewsbury tourist info do guided walks which last about 2 hours. Most enjoyable. Then a swim then a good bit of fine dining.

Cheers

Looks like there is a gap in the market here! If I ever win the lottery, I'll buy a site in a nice place and with an indoor pool so we can all have a nice peaceful swim!

Thanks for the info about Beaconsfield site, although it would be nice to head to a more coastal area, either South West, East Anglia, Wales or even as far north as Northumberland etc, we live in South Bucks so it would be nice to get away for long week-ends without too much driving so if anybody knows of any other adult only sites with indoor pools it would be good to hear about!

Bingham Grange, near Bridport Dorset would be a good choice. newly refurbished too.

Like you I don't hate children....Just prefer a bit of peace and quiet.
