Advice needed re awning please

We have just taken delivery of a 2012 Lunar Delta TI. In the owners manual it gives the size of the awning as 1075. The awning we chose, an Isabella Commodor Concept (that was delivered with the van) measures 1050. When we enquired, the dealer said this is the size Isabella says fits this model of caravan. We will not be erecting it until the end of May, for the season, so it remains packed. What would you do?

Hello
If you go to the Isabella website they have a facility where you type in the year and model of your caravan, and they will tell you what size they recommend.

Just tried the Isabella site and you can't search for anything newer than 2011.

Whoops plan B

Practical Carvan Magazine June 2012 issue, page 128 gives Lunar Delta TI awning size as 1065,not sure if this helps or becomes more confusing.

Think most awning sizes have a +/- of 25cms from one size to the next so the 1065 is between the two figures you have quoted
so seems to be in the middle.

My 2010 Delta RS takes a 1050 nicely and I don't think they have changed the body size recently. If I had a 1075 I think the sides would be a bit baggy unless pulled out quite severely

Hi supergranne!
Just been looking at some Isabella info and it states a 1050 awning will fit a van between 1036-1060 and a 1075 fits 1061-1085.
Hope this helps.
