Thanks Andrew,

Money isn't the big issue, what I would like is a porch awning which is reliable, and isn't draughty. I have a apache malaga 780 for the van which great but for the weekend trips is a little to big.

we've just bought a sunncamp awning, with the poles on the outside, yes like a upturned dome tent, and cannot fault it at all, the bigger one can take 2 chairs and table, and leaves room for in and out of the caravan easily, the best feature for us is the ease of putting it up, 10 mins and its done, all from the outside, no awning about your ears while your inside, and the best bit is, it can be done on your own. don't needs 6 pairs of hands, while away last time 2 other people on site had one, and all gave it the thumbs up
