Aerial Problems - Again !

Hi,

I have a similar problem. I have a normal aerial socket in the caravan and a status box in the overhead locker. The status box has two aerial leads by it - one I presume feeding from the aerial on the roof and one that plugs into it and goes to my aerial socket above the fire ??? - but I'm not sure and I'm not getting a signal ?

Can anyone advise please what the problem(s) may be ??

What shape is your aerial? Round or torpedo shaped?

Most vans have a feed to both the front and the back of the van. There is usually one input from the aerial and 2 outputs.

It also depends whether you are trying to get digital.

How old is the van?
 
Status aerials are just loke domestic ones that use an antenna and a booster. Plug the lead from the antenna directly into the TV and see if you get a picture. It is well known for the boosters to fail.
