used aerial could get max strenght on finder but plu into tv and no signal cuold be found.New aerial used 2 first time no probs taken home and tryed finder on house aerial only got a poor signal and got a good picture on same tv out of the caravan changed all conections still no joy so tv ok finder ok cable ok so leaves only the new aerial any ideas.

What sort / make of aerial have you got ?

What is the post code of the place that you tried it at ??

had it at cotswolds this time but been there bofore and it was ok its a image the tv has biult in free view.

I dont know what aerial you have , but if its a directional you need to look at the aerials in the nearby houses to see if the aerial is set for a horizontal or vertical signal , for lots more info on aerials go to www.aerialsandtv.com

yes the problem is i get a strong signal untill i put erialthe cable into tv tv works at home with a weak signal from house aerial.

You could try putting the post code into this link for the tv mast locator at the far right hand side it will tell you the location of the nearest mast......

because of the hills there will be booster stations nearby & they are sometimes switched from horizontal to vertical polarisation.....

With the status 530 you can move this from "H" to "V" very easily.......
