Age or Miles??

I am thinking about buying another towcar. There are 2 that I am interested in. One is an 2008 with 15k and one is a 2009 with 30k. Which one do you reccommend??

Age of miles??

shouldn't be too much wrong with either. Whichever is in best condition, better looked after and with a full service history

Are they diesel or peteol? Automatic or manual and what type of car? Have you checked the maximum braked capacity of either even though they may be identical cars as the the braked towing weight between years can vary.

Hello Mlj,

Its really not possible for forum members to give a specific answer to you, as it all depends on the actual condition of either motor and the only way anyone can do that is to physically inspect the vehicle.

It is quite possible for 15K motor to be in far worse condition than a 30K motor - it depends on how they have been driven, or perhpas its been in an accident --and so on.
The AA and RAC will do a vehicle inspection for you - but it will cost but it could be money well spent see:
