After years of camping in tents with our large family, we decided to save up and buy a caravan. Not having a very big budget and not wanting to spend too much on our first caravan, we found a Compass omeaga 1989 selling locally.
One our first trip last weekend, we went into reception and were told to go and find ourselves a pitch and fill in our booking form when ready.
We found our pitch and popped up the awning. Sat down with a nice glass of wine, found a pen and stared to fill in our booking from. To my horror i read we do not except caravans older than 15 years.
I took the booking from back and said i was sorry but was nt sure what age the caravan was and she told me not to worry have a good weekend.
Now if i was to have told this lady the right year would i have been kicked off the site i wonder.
Is this a normal rule on site, or was this just a one off?
Perhaps some one could enlighten me please.
