Good on you ! I suspect the lack of caravanners in your age group is stongly related to the pressure on available funds for such things as downpayments on houses etc. etc. or paying off student loans or other non-fun things.

So yes it is quite rare. I had to wait until 31 for my first van which got slipped into the equation when we moved from London to the Midlands with considerable capital gain on the house.

44 years later I'm still at it, so beware - it's addictive

yes ive never seen anybody our age range. we dont drink very often or go out etc. we have alot of animals and save for a break here and there but it was difficult with the dog and as we dont like kennels we started looking at tourers. 1 signature later and we had this.lol. ive worked with horses all my life so confident hitching, towing etc. stayed in caravans before so not had to do the work with one which was why i joined.

at least since its quite rare for our age range its easy for you lot to spot us and come for a brew.haha. its just a new adventure and cant wait for it to get started :)

watch out, The MOG's might mistake you for "youngsters" and complain.

Have fun, enjoy yourselves and enjoy those wet rainy nights with the rain drumming on the van roof, the heating on, a glass of beer and relax.

Better still enjoy those balmysummer nights, barbie on the burn .,a glasso f beer ,a few burgers n sausages and chat the night away getting slowly ... numbed... looking at the wonderful night sky ,the stars, listening to the screeches and twit twoos of the owls.

that me lost the plot for the rest of tonight.

We were very late starters and it was the arrival of our puppy 12 months ago that encouraged us to join the tourers - absolutely addicted - comes in very handy when travelling to dog shows too.

Good on you - wish we'd done it when we were in our 20s!!
