I would second the comments on Attwools.
We use the branch just south of Gloucester on A38.
I drop wife off at garden centre(almost opposite),then I go browsing in Attwools.🀭
Lots of variety and most important, staff are very friendly and helpful.

We go in their every time we are in the area and may pop in there later today as staying on a site not far away.

if we passing we will call in and have a browseπŸ˜‰

Hope you enjoy it Beachball.
To be honest,it isn't very well signposted.
Its in Whitminster and if your travelling from Bristol to Gloucester, its just past the garden centre on your right.
If coming from Gloucester,as you enter Whitminster,go slower as its just before a set of traffic lights on your left.πŸ‘

Hi GeorgeandAde very helpful routes in this matter πŸ˜‰

These are two photos of my Kampa Rallye Air giving up the ghost in a moderate wind four years ago. Still in the loft. Izzy now a permanent feature.

This is the Dometic Kampa 500 sun canopy. We use the electric 12v Gale pump to inflate it. One of the downsides is that if you go out, you need to put everything back into the caravan in case there are any opportunists around. Advantage with being on a site with proper security.
Another issue is you need to check wind forecast as you do not want the canopy blowing over the caravan. We use large stakes on the two ends. We also have side walls and enough windbreaks to go right around the canopy if necessary.

It does look good.
Any progress with the photos of your awning BB?
mel
My wife has a 7320 Nokia phone and at the present time I don't know how to transfer the pictures onto computer. We are away again mid September and will take my camera so further ones can be taken and then you will be able to see the porch awning.πŸ™‚

Well done BB. Looks like a tidy little awning. Does it have an inflatable inner cross beam as well as the inflatable β€œhoop” shaped outer?

Looks the same as our Kampa 220. Quick to erect with 12v pump. Our biggest issue during the winter is condensation on the inside no matter how well it is ventilated.

Hi Mel it didn"t come with a inner cross beam just the one air beam at the front but would have to check if they do it for this model if they do might be interested πŸ™‚

Actually it was quick to put up i just found the pegging a ordeal plus the instructions this one might not get condensation because i don"t use the van in winter .

We use a drill to put in screw pegs. Probably takes longer to inflate the awning than pegging it down. LOL!
