Hi, we have just returned from a weekend away and our stabiliser is making a noise. A few months ago, there was an article in the mag about servicing the AKS1300. I have unfortunately thrown my copy out. Does anyone out there have the copy and would they be kind enough to email the article to me. Hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance, regards, Andrew.

I had a similar problem with my AKS 1300, ie.,noisy when making a turn or changing direction. I put a new pair of pads in and completely cured the problem. On reflection I could have just rubbed the surface of the pad over, but having bought new ones I fitted them. However if the old ones pass the wear test just clean them up with an abrasive paper to gat rid of the glaze.
