If the Alko locks are part of the security supplied with the van as the alarm , if the van is left and they are not fitted does this affect your insurance ????? .

STEVE said experienced nothing but hassle with my Alko scratching my lovely new alloy wheels into the bargain

Alko now do a plstic cover so the metal part of the lock does not contact your wheels.

We have used ours for nearly a year now and never had a problm, other than a couple of times forgetting to align before setting up. grrrrrrr

Yes it does,if you state you have an Alko lock you are expected to use it.

Im sure Dustydog could clarify this?
just got a quote for insusance and told they must be fitted when the van is unattended or policy invalid, caravan club.
