I have the above lights in my van, they are about 100mm diameter, they are and never have been any good. They are on the ceiling, does anyone know how to remove them without damaging ceiling
I think they may simply be glued or even Velcro. I have seen similar lights which had double sided tape supplied with them. To test it I would use a thin cheese wire and carefully run it between the back of the light and the ceiling to see if hit an obstruction before getting to the middle where the wires are(Best if battery is disconnected and EHU off whilst doing this). Sawing the wire back and forward would slice through any double sided tape or velcro, but not a screw. The other way would be to place a thin piece of plastic against the ceiling to protect it and then use a lever to prise the fitting off which may damage it as presumably you don't want it this won't be a problem.
Just to finish this offi got 3 lamps off eBay for £20 each, they are the same size and have a button on the side which you can dim from 5% to100%.They also retain there memory.Fitted and working ok
