Some good bargains to be had this Thursday at Aldi

The foam floor mats IMO are better than any ground sheet and can be hung on the washing line a lot easier than a ground sheet to wash & dry ... ;)

Thanks for the wind up Sprocket, still building ours and not open until May!!! :(
Nearest one 30 miles away :(

I walk past one twice a day on my way to and from work. I can source your requirements. Course you won't get it until October. :)

The foam squares that are coming up .I have quantity of new and used only once ones looking for a new home

Ditto. We have quite a few to fit a Ventura Marlin porch awning and used 2 or 3 times and now they lanquish in the garage. Initially we put them under the groundsheet when on hard standing but it got too much of a chore. We do however keep 3 or 4 in the caravan in case the ground is very soggy.

Cant beleive the price of that Garmin Camper sat nav, I only bought mine at the show in October and got it for £300 instead of £350, I thought that was a bargain!!!!!!

I bought their caravan steps at £14.99 and although I've not used them yet (only got them yesterday!) they seem to be good value.

I also got 2L of toilet fluid ( pink) and this was £4.99.

I phoned up Aldi on 0800 042 0800 on Thursday to enquire about local availability of the caravan steps and toilet fluid at my nearest Aldi store, and was told that this info would only be available from today Friday when the computer system is updated.

I took the chance of going early on Thursday ( its a 20 mile round trip in heavy traffic) as I didn't want to wait until today in case they sold out quickly.

However for those folks who want to wait until the day after the special offers are launched a phone call ( free from land lines) to check availability could be a good move.
Regards to all

Aldi Ludlow. Just bought a supply of caravan shampoo cleaner and black streak remover. They didn't have the digital spirit level that should have been in last week.

I must live in the middle of Aldi land  put our post code in the store locator and there are twenty in a fifteen mile radius.

OH sent me in Aldi to pick up some pegs. My protestations that 80% of our MPTLM is now accounted for by pegs went unheard.

Good bargains in there for anyone starting out with a van though.

I find this exceeding strange. There is nothing about caravan bits on either the Aldi web site or on my phone via their app.

Eh?

You missed them - it was the previous Thursday. :eek:hmy: The thread was started over a week ago.

...as I have since found out! Our nearest ALdi is about 20 miles away - until next year (in theory.)
