alko 2004 " O" RING REPLACEMENT

Hi all,
Just got back from changing the side friction pads on my alko 2004 i popped them out with no problems, when i replaced them one side clicked back in but the other side wouldn't i also noticed there was on O ring on the floor could anyone please tell me how on earth do you get that back in, i tried for over an hour then gave up is there any diagrams or procedure to get this back in please.

If the O ring has come out it is possible that it is damaged or the wrong size, to get new ones in is a real pain I used a small screwdriver and slowly pushed the new one into the recess where it sits
