Hi folks.
can anyone advise? I have a new Swift Challenger caravan with the2004 /3004 stabiliser hitch,I cannot fit my Alko hitchlock to it,there seems to be something obstucting it. The button on the side wont go rihgt inlike it did on my previous 2006 Abbey with the 3004 hitch,I cant see that there would be any difference between the two hitches from the same maker. In hope Denis
 
My hitch lock originates from 2004 and has fitted all 3 vans. The middle van was difficult- I had to lift the lock slightly as I pushed in the button. Third van is fine but I did tighten the screws behind the lock. Nothing was loose but tightening them made it easier. (I think you'll find it's how you hold your mouth!)
