Hello everyone,I am so pleased with life right now that I want to share my news!!After seeing my consultant and getting the OK we can get ready for our first trip this year. The new hip is coming along nicely and I feel so much better without the pain.I am still limping a little but that will lessen as my withered muscles get stronger."Himself" has begun making his lists and "The Bears" can sense travel in the air!"Caravans" don't ya just love em????? LOVE TO ALL xxxxxx

Very good news TC. Does this mean a long trip is on the horizon?

If you happen to be in Scotland next month you might meet my mum! I'm giving her the grand tour for 4 weeks.

Don't slip or trip. All the best.

Cheers

Hello Thursdays Child,

Pleased to hear that you are progressing well, however you must still be very careful to stregthen your muscles, before running a marathon. Looks like the weather has changed for the better, so you must be looking forward to your first trip, with the new hip.

Take care & best regards,

George

Hip Hip Hooray!

I'm glad that your operation has been successful and thanks for sharing your good news with us.

I concur with fellow members advice to take things slowly at first so that you will fully reap the benefits later on.

Well how nice you all are and I shall keep your advice in mind.We are not going too far this time out but in Sept we are off to France again for 6/7 weeks stay.I have really got a little "stir crazy" being restricted. It was compounded by the caravan being just outside waiting!!!!

I do hope everyone has the best year ever touring around and posting their adventures for us all to share and learn from.
