hi, we are going to amiens in spring time and we are looking for a site with good size pitches, peaceful and clean anyone got suggestions.... thanks jean
 
Funnily enough we left a site in Amiems a few days ago its called Parc des Cygnes which accepts the ACSI Card. It is part of a larger sports complex in a semi urban setting. Apart from a little early morning traffic noise it is relatively peaceful. Pitches vary in size but most are quite generous. I will eventually put a site report on my website with photos.

We were at a Camping Cheques site near Amiens a couple of weeks ago - Les Puits Tournants. Only drawback is the ducks as there is a lake on site and they quack all day! Quiet at night though. The owner was very friendly and helpful, would happily go back. The village is small and there's no shops, but bread can be ordered except for Wednesdays.
