hi all, normally use red pennent annual cover for trips to france ,but just got a quote from the AA only £100 , we tow bailey burgundy ( 7.m plus) with kia sedonna , has any of you good people used this service ....looking forward to your replies & a happy new year...pete

Sounds too cheap to be true (or at least to provide the same degree of cover). The Red Pennant long stay cover up to 122 days allows you to make several trips within this total, although this is not very clear from the prospectus. So you could do 3 x 4 weeks trips for the one premium. On this basis RP would actually be cheaper.

I would look very carefully at the cover offered particularly about repatriation of the vehicle if required through illness/injury or damage.

Hi Ray I also have been trying to get the club to sort out the wording of Long Stay . There seems no doubt that it covers one for say 122 days in a 12 month period but thats not how it reads and I am always wary of the wording in insurance policies.
