ANY ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS FOR MY BATHROOM LOCK ?

Hi everyone,
My Swift van has the above style of bathroom lock, which is broken - it doesnt have the return spring action I would have expected when you turn the handle, and it cannot be locked from the inside. In addition, my wife doesnt like the method of the internal locking - too fiddly for the kids (she says)

My question - can anyone advise if there are alternatives on the market which are of a different style, but same fitment ? and perhaps look a bit more modern.

Only one i can think of is the push button type of catch here on page 108 ...

Bathroom in a caravan ? must be an American caravan.Lock on a caravan toilet door? must be an American caravan with garage calendars on the walls.

Personally I am against internal locks in caravans.
They serve no real purpose and as you have discovered they at not very good.
In the event of say a fire a swift exit is essential. Who's locking who out or Iin and for what reason. ?

I think I see a pattern here - one less thing for me to fix I guess. The other half will have to put up with a broken "toilet" lock (for the time being at least)
