Anybody tried the BMW 730D as atow car

hi, thinking of changing and looking at a used 730D. A good one appers to be about 12K and looks very good on paper.

Any comments
 
Don't know about a tow car, but my local garage owner has one, but he is using a vauxhall combi van to get to work in this snow. To quote him direct, "It's bloody lethal in this weather".

with a kerbweight of 1900 kg 218 bhp and 369lbs of torque and a towing limit of 2100 kg I'd go for one no problem

p.s. these figures are for a 2003 730 dse
