Well as you can remember I was handed my notice of employment in March.
Since then my contract was extended twice, one till the end of July, and now till the end of November.
Obviously I am greatful of the work and it pays the bills, but on the other hand there should be rights for employees so HR can't take the 'P' and keep rolling contracts over with short extensions to suit them!
I contacted the Citizens Advice, who then pointed me to ACAS and they basically said, HR can do what ever they wanted.... which wasn't what I wanted to hear
There should be a law that employers can only extend employees notice periods to a max 3, then they need to either take them back on the books or let them go! Pretty sure Denmark and other countries have a max limit.
I mean, this period hasn't been good on the family stress, and my mental health has been shot!
