I have an Elddis Xplore with a crack in the ABS front panel that I need to repair. I can get to the inside of the panel via the space between the front lockers, so I am looking to brace across the back of the crack rather than using heated staples from the outside, and hopefully minimising cosmetic work on the outside. Does anyone recommend a good product to give as much strength to the repair as well as preventing ingress (I have drilled a hole at the end of the crack to prevent it spreading) by bonding the panel, whilst remaining flexible enough to move with the panel when under tow, given it is on the nearside of the Van and therefore possibly more prone to movement? I am thinking of something like Innotec Repoplast?
Anyone recommend an ABS repair epoxy/adhesive?

Hello from a newbie on here, but a long time...very..caravan owner. Currently down in N Devon....went to close the door window blind last night and the pull down plastic thing has snapped off so now can't keep it down ! (Used black tape to try and hold it.) Any ideas to repair/replace somehow...

I used Fibrefix Fexi patch to repair a cracked A frame fairing. I used it on the inside and it made a very strong repair. Then Plastaid ABS repair on the outside which I then sanded and polished so the repair was neigh on invisible.

On my last van I repaired cracks where I reversed it into a wall I made the cracks into a V shape and filled with a paste of lego bricks dissolved in acetone. After polishing it was invisible.
This van with some smaller cracks In again made a V and filled with sealant. Then covered with a reflective sticker.
The Lego method is better but takes several applications and lots of wet sanding. The sealant method is one application and it's done.

Interesting, how did you know to use the bricks and solvent..what was the science that informed that method?

I found it on another forum, made sense to me as Lego is ABS and dissolves in acetone.
You can modify the colour by adding yellow)brown bricks to white bricks🫣
