Anyone with New Octavia 2Ltr TDi 6 Speed?

I've replied to your original posting re towing with 6 gears. I have changed my Octavia 2.0 FSi estate for 2.0 TDi Sport hatchback and will be using this to tow for the first time in 3 weeks.

Never had any problems towing with the Octavia estate.
 
I tow with an '04 Octavia 1.9 TDi 130 bhp with a 6 speed box. I never use the 6th gear when towing but I rarely have to change done from 5th to 4th gear when on the motorway.

And in response to your other thread, last year when we went to France we covered 1600 miles of which 1200 miles were towing and averaged 33 mpg.
