When I first heard from Damian………

I'll do my best to live up to the standards Damian has set.

Damian I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that you and yours are in our thoughts.

Many thanks Sam. Maybe today, a few days since Damian’s very sad announcement, I am sure I and many others will want to congratulate you on becoming a Mod. A lot of hard work so well done and good luck into the future. Hope to see you at a future Woosie Fest.

It has been a week or so since Damians sad news to us, but as a slight light heartedness, to the Forum,
The Terry Pratchetts books about the fantasy disc worlds, there is a Sam Vines, who is Captain of the Guard( night Watch) of Annk Morpork.
Who does a wonderfull job of guiding a bunch of enthuisactic, but incompetent bunch of folk.

It must be hard for authors and screen writers to come up with character names that don't exist in real life. Mind you there's probably an app to do this these days.
