Since first giving this forum some serious reading and then posting a few topics and replies I seem to find it rather addictive to say the least. When you post a topic it is like waiting for the postman to deliver, my wife has called me a " saddo " and like.

Don't get me wrong I don't think I am a saddo and I dont wear a green raincoat and wait for trains in the rain. Watching the forum the usual names pop up all the time and at times throughout the day, when Eastenders is on the telly and other women programmes what else should I do ? Sit out in the caravan and fiddle with things !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to our world, Danny. Not cured by going to the Easter Meet, but at least you will meet your fellow addicts. Perhaps we need a support group?

What is wrong with watching trains?

Agree with the tv comments tho' why do I pay the licence fee? Because I have to, of course.

Keep posting, it keeps you insane.

Hi To All

I only post when I'm drunk, because " Reality is an Illusion brought on through the lack of Alcohol " Now I need to go and post the Xmas Cards, and check the list for the other odd jobs Val left for me, before she went to work !!!

Easter?? I dinna ken yet, as the locals would say around here.

Actually in all honesty I hadn't really given it much thought. Normally we give Easter a miss, not for any negative reasons, but it is usually busy and we can go either before or after, so usually allow the families who are restricted in time to enjoy themselves.

We are scheduled to venture off to France/Italy in May not returning until September, so the summer will be quiet for you all.

Actually, when is Easter next year? The 'powers that be' seem to move it around quite a lot. As mentioned somewhere on a previous post we ventured out to Harrogate in April this year, and froze our butts off. After the 3rd wet day we came home.

If we did look at it, I would discuss with the 'boss' who is far more sane and sensible than I.

Okay, okay. So no one has bought a new calendar in this household yet. Maybe we will get one free in the post as normal.

At least it would appear Easter is in April, not March as has been the case. Thinking Cap time.

Are you going?

Got the cap on to,

But would need to plan it in with something else, it's along tow for the weekend or even for a week. Going to Cornwall in June then Wales in July. Off to Arasaig in May so don't know. Would like to maybe we could have a Scottish Forum Meet, and NO I am not trying to separate the two.

So, if you are an addict, are you closeted in a office/study/spare bedroom staring into the screen all day and night? Are you perpetually dashing into the room anxiously hoping for a reply to your own pearls of wisdom? If so, some people out there must make themselves pretty unpopular with the rest of the family (OK, I agree the reverse could be true if they like you out of the way!).

Me, my laptop's conveniently placed in the lounge at the side of the settee. Indispensable now for news, sports results, weather, answering Millionaire questions (!), you name it. Much better fun than the telly (but I can still watch it when I want to and still be 'part of the family')

Interesting to hear about other peoples' surfing methods...
