I have to have my Astra serviced not taking it to dealer, price.

But I have to have a new cam belt and tension thing changed, apparently 3 years or 60,000 miles the cost for that little job

Smiley - cambelts on Vauxhalls should be replaced at 40,000 miles or 4 years - it's usually more like

thank you for all your replys, however we have changed our minds and we are now looking at buying a MITSUBISHI PAJERO 2.8 turbo diesel automatic and the wife having the astra. it would be great to hear from anyone who tows with one off theses 4x4's to hear what there like to tow with?

I suggest you post your new request as a new thread - I doubt you'll get many Mitsubishi owners reading a thread entitled "Astra", hope you get sorted soon.
