Austrian Vignette

Is there anywhere ti buy an Austrian Motorway Vignette in advance? Or will I have to buy in Germany at the motorway services before I get there?

Being a bit of a worrier, I'm thinking 'what if they've sold out?', 'what if I forget?', 'what if I leave it too late and there are no more services?'.

Buy it in Austria at the first service station after you cross the border. Some border crossing posts are non existant now and don't have facitlites. No problem - don't worry about it.

You can buy them at almost any petrol station close to the border and any offices of the Auto Club ADAC (or their online shop on the internet), so there's no chance of them running out.

We recently came in from Czech Republic. There was nowhere to buy them there (only Czech ones) until you actually cross the border.

Tried to buy from Adac but it only came up with Germany as a delivery country.

I am crossing at Salzburg on the A8 from Munich. I hope I can buy at any of the services on that stretch of Motorway.

Had no problem buying one in Italy en route to the Brenner. _7.70 for 10 days.
