Does anyone know of a GOOD dealer/repairer who can provide parts and do major Avondale repairs (new front/respray of a side etc) in the Midlands or 150 miles of Peterborough. Looking for a quality job by someone who cares or am I asking for the impossable in the caravan industry

not sure if it's a little beyond your boundaries but reads at Blackburn were brilliant with my Avondale and I believe they bought most of the Avondale spare parts when Avondale went under a couple of years ago. Iwould strongly recommend them.

Really impressed by Reads of Blackburn, from the first contact they responded in 2 hrs what has taken my local Dealer over 2 weeks to sort. We are currently talking to them and insurers about doing our repair.

Hi Wayne Reads contact no. Is 01254 694311. They did several jobs on my Avondale icluding a faultless repair on a cracked back panel and an internal damp infected panel. They always exceeded my expectations in all aspects of service and repair.

the man you need to get in contact with is Shane Smith. but because he he is the general manager of the group along with being the aftersales manager, you are better emailing him at service@readcaravans.com. i say this because it is difficult to get him on the phone because he is very busy but always answers emails within a couple of hrs.
