Awning channel lube

I'm using a lubricant supposedly to lubricate the track for the awning,,all seems well although the small brush to apply the lubricant doesn't seem too robust,a replacement/substitute could be used from a kit used to clean vehicle spray guns, usually three brushes supplied in the kit if the original brush breakes

Get a metre length of string, tie a small piece of cloth to each end, spray furniture polish on one and enter it into the awning channel, pull it through and pull it back.
Replace with the dry piece of cloth to polish it. Works a treat.

I cleaned the rail awhile ago,the stuff that came out looked like it had been collecting from new since 92,may never had an awning on before, glad it's only a small two berth 🙂
