good idea,I think it also proves you can get better(cheaper)products that ar'nt specifically targeted as caravan equipment,got a local wilkes will have a look !!xI have used a splash proof workmans light which is housed in a plastic case with a 2D flourecent tube. The handle fitted over an awning pole, and it's long mains cable meant it would easily reach any of the power points in the caravan - brilliant light output, and low wattage - and can be used at home for its original purpose. I think Wikes builders merchants sell them. For sites without mains hook ups a inverter works very well.
