Awning Light

Hi All

Need a bit of extra light for those warm summer evenings were going to have !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whats the best? 12v ? mains etc..etc.....

Thanks

Tina

I have used a splash proof workmans light which is housed in a plastic case with a 2D flourecent tube. The handle fitted over an awning pole, and it's long mains cable meant it would easily reach any of the power points in the caravan - brilliant light output, and low wattage - and can be used at home for its original purpose. I think Wikes builders merchants sell them. For sites without mains hook ups a inverter works very well.
