awning light

I have a swift sprite 4 currently on seasonal site and the site owner has just rang me to say the awning light has turned itself on.
It is still connected to 240 volts
Any ideas please

Normally A 12 volt light. But are sometimes integrated with an alarm and or a remote. Mind is. And it has occasionally thrown a wobbly.

My Keen alarm has a remote facility for the awning light - with certain combinations of switching, temporary removal of the mains supply can put the light on - maybe your storage site has had a power cut, or someone has disconnected the EHU and then reconnected it.

Our Buc awning light is jammed on. I've disconnected it till I can get it to the dealer. The alarm relay apparently is stuck on.

Doesn't the awning light work off the 12v so whether you have 240v or not, the light will still work? Normally they are LEDs light so I would think that hardly any power is being used.
