Hi Folks, whilst away recently, we saw someone with a Shoe Storage system in the awning. My wife decided that this is something we need. The Isabella shoe organiser is a bit pricey for what it is at £105, so I was wondering whether people use it or any alternatives? TIA.

Amazon have the sort of thing with 28 pockets for 12.99 and plenty of choice. Designed to hang over a household door but readily adaptable to hang from horizontal pole of an awning. (I have edited the post as it didn’t abbreviate the URL and the price was not clear in the listing)

We use the floor!
No additional expense.
Nothing to "forget"
Nothing to trip over
Never needs a "replacement"
Never gets lost
Takes up no storage space.

Personal opinion of course.

The listing was misleading in layout as the 28 pockets versions were about 12.00 - please see edited posting above!
You can also buy a fabric shoe organiser in Dunelm - one with 6 compartments for 6.00. In fact we use something similar hung over the wardrobe rail that holds socks and undies tidily.

We used to have one that was like a free standing wardrobe about 5’ high. It was fabric with 5 shelves in it and had a poled frame that fitted together like awning poles. It was just “something else” to assemble so now we just use a large zipped beach-bag.
